First off thanks to everyone who called or sent me a text message on my birthday (with my husbands help or because you remembered)... it was a good day, I ate lots of yummy food, got pretty flowers from my husband (thanks for helping him Holly), went out to dinner with just my husband (thanks Justin and Stacy), and got some much needed presents from my parents/sister. It was a good day even though I'm older.

Now on to the good stuff :) The family I nanny for gave Porter this little 4 wheeler... its way beat up and it didn't work (other than the siren) when we got it. One day I tried to fix it and blew the fuse that worked the siren, which caused my husband to fix it... he replaced the fuse and figured out the wiring and it works! It has taken Porter a few days to figure out how to make it go... now if only he could get the steering thing down :)

helping dad fix it, climbing on it, and actually riding it

This picture is for my mom and melissa... Porter dressed pretty cute for church on sunday in the clothes they sent. While he did not enjoy getting dressed and was on the verge of crying when he was done, once he looked in the mirror he was pretty proud of how handsome he looked:

(Porter will now pull cheesy camera smiles if you count for him)

And lastly some random pictures that were on my camera phone:

I have been promising a post for over a week now... so here it is :)

One day when I had a pretty bad attitude about the day Porter decided that it was his duty to make his mom smile. His favorite thing lately is driving the car/playing in the car... kind of dangerous I know, we've had to start locking the door to the garage and before long we'll need to lock the car everytime we get out... but he loves it. So I let him play in my car because I just wanted him to be happy... Sadie jumped up in too so I grabbed my laptop and jumped in the back. After a short period of time Sadie passed a little stink around, so I got the keys and rolled down the windows... thus the power was on in the car... Porter turned on the hazards, the blinkers, the wipers and then turned on some tunes... on came the beach boys (bryce left the cd in my car for some reason) and he started clapping and dancing. I couldn't help but smile a boy his dog, the beach boys, and driving the car :)

I know there was something else that really made me smile that day and I meant to write about it, but now I can't remember. Then last weekend we (Porter and I) got the flu... it wasn't fun and I felt sick for a few days after too... one of those nights I was laying on the couch feeling sorry for myself and how awful I felt and Porter climbed up on me and jumped on me to try and get me to laugh... it worked it always does... he's a kid who loves to laugh!

This week was also our 3rd anniversary... I guess I forgot the cheesy post about how much I love my husband... poor guy his wife just doesn't have it together. I did however 'decorate' his car a little and make all the boys at work tease him. But best of all we went to McDonalds and got the family nugget meal... Porter did not want to play because girls were screeching in the play place, but he did think it was the best dinner ever !

(note my birthday is next week so we will go out to a nice dinner without our son, but we figured we're celebrating family so this worked nice)

Porter and Sadie have started to play together more and more which is fun when they get along, but not fun when they don't and it makes Porter whine and cry just like brothers and sisters! Here's a video of the good times... it cuts down on the time Bryce and I have to throw the ball for her.

It's the end of high school football season so that means Grandpa and Grandma come down along with Eric and his family to seen the final games. We were fortunate enough to get to go as one BIG group to the Phoenix Zoo. I wish I could say Porter loved the whole thing, but I would be lying he did all right but didn't really understand that he was looking at animals and he got real tired (it was nap time). But it was still a nice time and great to see everyone!
