This is an airplane at Bill & Trudy's... Porter loved it along with the playground and sandbox (we stayed with them when we went up Labor Day weekend... we were so SPOILED! Not only do they have a great yard and are great company, they gave us the master suite... when Porter saw their master bath he asked if he could go swimming... I said 'no'... Trudy said 'of course he can!'...
he also loved this noah's ark with lots of animals... he made lots of animal trains and car trains.
He loves his grandpa's yard... it has lots of fun stuff and he spends hours outside,
but check out what Bill let him ride on at the shop!
Bill let Porter come down to the shop and Bryce showed him lots of fun 'toys.' Porter was a little nervous at first because they were so much bigger than his toys, but then he enjoyed:
driving the tractor with Daddy
climbing in for a ride-a little nervous
up,up,up
(he's developed a little fear lately--thank goodness!)
We met Danny/Rachel/Ellie, Adam/Felicia/kids, and some other friends for lunch and play at Woodlands park... I didn't take pictures of the adults... 3 women who recently had babies don't need that stage of postpardum recorded, at least I would rather not! =)
Porter found a friend to play tether ball
(the best part the ball wasn't low enough to hit them in the head)
at least he didnt stick his head in like our friends boy did!
he also found a ditch that he kept calling a 'tunnel' (his latest obsession, he is constantly calling things tunnel its like a broken record... that and 'open the gate' 'what happened here' 'i want' 'sorry k' 'wow whats that' 'dinosaur train' and several others its cute at first but after 12 hours of it starts to get old!)

One morning when mom and dad wouldn't get out of bed he decided to play in the tub... i guess the towels are either a road or the water he's swimming in?

cute in dad's hat... significant only because up until recently he refused to have anything on his head, but he got the hat out all on his own
Avery's 4 month stats:
13lbs 24 3/4 inches long (average... right around 50)
13lbs 24 3/4 inches long (average... right around 50)
cute, cute, cute
she clasps her hands together all the time, its sweet
in the morning I prop her up and she 'helps' make the bed=she chews/sucks on the sheets
Watching TV with dad/Bryce 'watching' the kids while I ran to the store/what my side of the bed looks like by morning several nights a week (I sleep on the edge next to Avery... Bryce sleeps on the other half all by himself!)
We went to look at a house to rent... Porter was good so when we drove by the arches we went through... before we order we hear from the back "ice cream cone?" He knows that McDonalds=ice cream... he loves to eat the cone before he even finishes the top =)

another sunday, another attempted sibling shot, Avery cooperates Porter not so much
(love the dirty looks from Avery to Porter)
NOW the VIDEOS:
we hung the johnny jump up for Avery... she thinks it okay, Porter loves it all over again =)
Porter is still loving his 'scripture' books... here he's naming his favorites
addigadi=abinadi
